What We Treat
We provide individualised care and work from a wellness model with most substance and behavioural addictions (and co-existing issues) as well as other related conditions. We are not a mental health facility.
Common Addictions We Treat
Our specialty is treating drug and alcohol substance addictions. We also treat other selected behavioural addictions that occur are in conjunction with substance addictions such as gambling, gaming, and shopping.
What We Do Not Treat
Unfortunately, we do not treat people with the following conditions:
Serious unmanaged mental health issues
Serious history of perpetrating violence
Active eating disorders
Serious anger management issues
Smoking Policy
Smoking is only permitted in specific smoking areas at Southern Highlands. We strongly encourage guests to quit smoking whilst at Southern Highlands as smoking has been proven to be detrimental to long term recovery. There are many benefits to quitting smoking:
